Hey there, sweet friend!
👋Can you believe July is already in full swing? It’s that middle-of-summer moment where we’re juggling sunshine, projects, plans, and maybe even a little rest (hopefully!). 😅
If your brain feels like a browser with 27 tabs open—you’re not alone. That’s why I swear by a monthly to-do list that’s not just practical, but also pretty enough to make me want to stay on task.
Today, I’m sharing my custom July To-Do List Template, created right in Canva—and yes, you can grab it and make it your own too!
📝 Why a Monthly To-Do List Just Hits Different
Weekly plans are great, but sometimes you need that bird’s eye view. A monthly to-do list helps you:
Prioritize what really matters
Break down bigger goals into bite-size tasks
Track personal, creative, and business goals all in one place
Feel accomplished (hello, dopamine boost) every time you check something off
Plus—let’s be honest—if it’s cute, we’re way more likely to use it. 🎨💕
💡 What’s On My July To-Do List?
Here’s a peek at what I’ve got planned this month:
📦 Etsy Shop Goals
Launch new summer scrapbook paper bundle ☀️
Add 3 new Canva templates to the store
Run a mid-month flash sale
Respond to all customer messages with a smile
📣 Content Creation
Schedule weekly blog posts (including this one!)
Batch design Instagram carousels using my templates
Create a summer-themed Pinterest pin set
Record a Reel showing my July digital planner setup
👩💻 Personal & Home Life
Declutter my office (again…)
Plan a girls’ game night
Try 2 new summer recipes
Take one full day off to rest and recharge 🧘♀️
And of course…💛 Remember to hydrate and be kind to myself. Always.
🎨 How I Designed My To-Do List in Canva
Canva makes it so easy to create a to-do list you’ll actually stick with. Here’s how I did it:
1. Chose a Custom Size
I created an 8.5" x 11" template (perfect for printing or saving as a PDF!).
2. Divided It Into Sections
My layout includes:
Work goals
Personal tasks
Content planning
Notes + reminders
A little motivational quote at the bottom (because yes, I need it)
3. Added Color + Style
I used warm July tones—think golden sunshine, soft pinks, and calming greens. Then I added icons and little stars to make it ✨extra cute✨.
4. Left Room to Write or Type
Whether you love pen-and-paper planning or digital note-taking, this list works either way.
