✨ (Without Feeling Salesy or Overwhelmed)
You’ve poured your heart into a product — maybe it’s a journaling workbook, a set of digital scrapbook papers, or a beautiful Canva template kit — and now it’s time to launch it into the world.
But how do you do that without screaming “BUY MY STUFF!” at your email list?
Answer: You create an email series. One that’s warm, inviting, story-driven, and built to build excitement without the ick.
In this post, I’ll walk you through how to write a simple but powerful email series for your product launch — even if your list is small, you’ve never launched before, or you’re not sure where to start.
Let’s map it out together. 💛
💌 Why Use an Email Series for a Launch?
Because email still converts better than social media — by far.
Email gives you the chance to:
Talk directly to your most loyal audience
Build trust and excitement before you even drop the product
Educate your readers on how your product can help them
Share behind-the-scenes, sneak peeks, and bonuses
Make consistent sales without being pushy
And the best part? Once you’ve written it once, you can tweak and reuse it for future launches!
✏️ Step-by-Step: Plan Your Product Launch Email Series
I recommend writing a 5–6 email series, spaced out over 1–2 weeks. Here’s the flow I use (and teach!):
Email 1: Tease the Excitement
Subject Line: Something new is coming… 👀
In this email:
Hint at something exciting coming soon
Tease the transformation or problem it solves
Get them curious (without revealing everything)
Optional: Ask them to hit “reply” if they want to be on the VIP list
🎯 Goal: Spark curiosity + get early interest
Email 2: Share the Story Behind It
Subject Line: Why I made this for you 💛
In this email:
Tell the why behind your product (what inspired it?)
Share a personal story or struggle your audience will relate to
Start to describe what the product is (not all the details yet!)
Use a soft CTA like: “Can’t wait to show you more in a few days!”
🎯 Goal: Build connection + set the stage
Email 3: Reveal the Product!
Subject Line: It’s here: [Product Name] 🎉
In this email:
Introduce the product by name
Show what it is, who it’s for, and how it helps
Include product mockups, sneak peeks, or a walkthrough
Link to your shop or sales page
Bonus: Offer a launch-day freebie or discount
🎯 Goal: Create excitement + drive first-day sales
Email 4: Highlight the Benefits + Use Cases
Subject Line: How [Product Name] can make your life easier ✨
In this email:
Dive deeper into how your product helps
Include a list of benefits or “you can use this to…” ideas
Share real examples or testimonials if you have them
Add a strong CTA: “Shop it here,” “Grab your copy today!”
🎯 Goal: Educate + overcome hesitation
Email 5: Answer Questions + Handle Objections
Subject Line: Still thinking about it? Let’s talk.
In this email:
Address any common questions or hesitations
Include a mini FAQ
Reassure your audience that this product is for them
Remind them of any bonuses or early bird deadlines
🎯 Goal: Convert fence-sitters into customers
Email 6: Last Call
Subject Line: This is your last chance to grab [Product Name]! ⏳
In this email:
Send a short and clear “last call”
Remind them what’s included + what’s going away (bonus, discount, etc.)
Use urgency, but stay calm and genuine
Thank them for being here, whether they buy or not!
🎯 Goal: Create urgency + finish strong

Don’t be afraid to repeat your message — people skim emails
Always include a clear CTA (Call to Action)
Add value and heart to every message 💛
